This Christmas Stocking was inspired by a verse from Alfred Lord Tennyson.
The verse in the stocking is from Alfred Lord Tennyson
“Ring in the valiant man and free
The larger heart, the kindlier hand;
Ring out the darkness of the land,
Ring in the Christ that is to be.”
It can be stitched in the color or colors of your choice. There are two ornament designs included in the fold out chart, although any of the many motifs can be used to create even more ornaments. An alphabet for personalizing the stocking, if desired, is included.
FABRIC USED: Lugana, 28ct, white.
DESIGN SIZE: 170 X 250 stitches.
Approximate finished size (if stitched on 28ct fabric) 12″ X 18 1/2″.
