This new design, “Antrim’s Folly – A Burlington County Inspiration”, is the 5th sampler in the 13 Colonies Series and was inspired by the Mary Antrim sampler. The original was in the collection of American sampler and schoolgirl needlework scholar, writer, collector and teacher, Betty Ring. Mary Antrim was sold by Sotheby’s in 2012 for an astounding $1 million dollars!
The majority of Antrim’s Folly is stitched in Cross stitch, but because there are a number of specialty stitches, this is designated as an Intermediate design.
Stitch count is 257 W x 355 H.
