I LOVE this gorgeous sampler!! Those wonderful plaid dresses and that beautiful black and white drawbridge to the castle… and so much more about this one that makes it special!
First… you need to know that we love the original over 1 thread border, but not everyone does… so we graphed a very similar one over 2 threads and included BOTH in your booklet! If you want to stitch the design with the over 2 thread border, flip your booklet upside down and start from the back cover! This will keep you from getting confused about which chart you’re using.
We also carefully graphed the freehand bouquet of flowers in the bottom middle so that you know exactly where to place your stitches.
And we found Kezia’s history!! We even included a photo of the farm where she spent her adult years… because the farm house is still there and operating as a Bed and Breakfast!

You can stitch this beauty on any count of linen you prefer. If you stitch with two strands of silk/floss (32ct., 30ct., 28ct), you will need more thread that what we’ve included in the thread kits, as we kitted for one strand of silk/floss over two linen threads.
We’ve also included a separate “TLC” Thread Card Legend for Kezia so that you always have your legend in front of you.
And of course, we included all of the necessary stitch diagrams. Additionally, the chart is easy to read with color blocks that include easy to see symbols. Let us know in your order (add a note at checkout) if you need a black and white version, and we’ll send it along to you when you’ve completed your order. And we’ve included a large centerfold picture of the antique so that you can get a closer look if you like.
