This pattern was inspired by the beautiful collection of antique samplers in the collection of the York Museum’s Trust. In their archives are many Quaker samplers, all in unfinished states, and resembling those found at Ackworth Quaker school. These unfinished samplers and several alphabet samplers were used as a creative springboard to compose this sampler.
Stitch count: 204w x 235h
Model stitched on 32 count linen. Requires approximately 8-10 skeins of DMC floss.
