“When I was a kid, there was a period of several months when I was completely obsessed with checking out “Choose Your Own Adventure” stories from the bookmobile. I would read and re-read them until I had finished every possible scenario that the stories could play out. I thought those books were absolutely brilliant.
When I decided to design this sampler, I was so in love with how the floral border turned out that I had a very hard time settling on ONE motto that could appeal to every person that wanted to stitch the border. And then the epiphany came. Why have just one motto, when there are so many to choose from?
This chart pack comes with two charted mottos; the one that I eventually chose for myself, and one other, a quote by Maya Angelou, that I thought would appeal to a large audience: “The desire to reach for the stars is ambitious. The desire to reach hearts is wise””
