We are so excited to welcome Beth Seal of Summer House Stitche Workes back to Sassy Jacks Stitchery! Our 2022 Online Workshop with Beth is an encore of last year’s super popular Crowning Glory!! Join us for a day of live Zoom Meetings on Saturday May 7th, 2022. Kits are limited, so don’t delay! We sold out last year pretty quickly.
Beth brings us a gorgeous project that beckons to our love of crowns and their symbolism in needlework.
Your kit will be shipped to you Mid March, allowing more than a month for you to complete a bit of pre-stitching work so that we can do some finishing during the class.
Kim will do a brief “Welcome” address on Zoom Friday evening at 7 pm ET to make sure everyone has worked out all of the kinks with getting logged on and answer any questions about Saturday’s schedule.
The workshop proper will begin at 10 am Eastern Time on Saturday morning with Beth in the driver’s seat! We’ll break for lunch at Noon for an hour, and resume class at 1 pm sharp. We’ll take another short break at 2:30 and resume the last session at 2:40. We’ll finish up by 5 pm or maybe a bit earlier.
The course will be LIVE and not recorded for later viewing, so you must be able to actually attend during the times noted above.
This workshop will be fun filled and you’ll leave with some fully completed projects that you can use immediately, or gift to a special friend. AND you’ll leave us with some great finishing experience and ideas that you can use on your own work in the future. If you’ve ever sent anything to a finisher, you know that the wait can be pretty long, so having some confidence and skills to do this on your own is a super valuable trick to have in your stitchy bag.
You will LOVE this beautiful project and you will LOVE Beth! She’s a wonderful teacher and her classes are both informative and fun. I am so looking forward to joining you on this adventure!
Class Specifics:
– Friday Evening May 6th 7:00 pm – 7:30 pm ET
Kim will host a short Zoom Welcome to be sure you can all get signed it, and answer any logistical questions about Saturday’s workshop.
– Saturday May 7th 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Your workshop with Beth begins! You’ll log onto Zoom at the provided link and we’ll be on our way. We’ll break shortly mid-morning and mid-afternoon and we’ll take a one hour lunch break from Noon until 1:00 pm. We’ll finish up around 5:00 pm Eastern Time.
The workshop will be LIVE and not recorded for later viewing. You’ll need to be able to join us on Zoom on Saturday the 7th to participate in the course. Kim and Beth will be available following the class to answer any questions by email, of course.
– Pre-Stitching
There is some pre-stitching suggested for this class, so that you have a chance in class to work through the finishing technique. We plan to ship the kits in Mid- March to allow for a bit more than one month to complete the pre-stitching.
As always, I offer you this class at a low cost so that you can join us and your stitching friends for a really wonderful time. Cost is only $130 and includes the fabulous crown and all the supplies for creating your covered box to hold it!
