We are so excited to welcome you to our 2nd Annual September Soiree Stitch Retreat! Like last year, this retreat will feature just you, your WIPs, and your favorite needlework shop!
We’ll have some fun treats for you; a free bespoke chart from our in house design company, Sassafras Samplers, that will remind you of your visit to this beautiful area; a beautiful stitching space in our fully renovated classroom area on the top floor of our historic building; and access to our shop from 9 am until 10 pm every day.
We’ll welcome you to our shop for Open House on Thursday from Noon until Four, get you checked in, and show you up to our beautiful stitching space. By the way… there is a fabulous elevator in the back, so no need to worry about the stairs.
At 5 pm, we’ll kick off the retreat with a fun reception for all our attendees. We’ll provide a pizza dinner from Blue Mountain Pizza just across the street for those who want to skip dinner and get right to the stitching! We’ll stitch until 10 pm, then shut down and re-open at 9:00 am.
Friday and Saturday will be open stitch from 9:00 am until 10 pm each day, with Sassy Jacks hanging in there with you the whole time! You’ll need to get up and move around a bit, so we’ll allow for lunch on your own both days. There are some great food options right on Main Street within a block’s walk in either direction.
We’ll leave you to your own for dinner on Friday night, but come together for some fabulous desserts to nourish us through our evening of stitching.
Saturday evening we’ll provide heavy h’orderves for dinner so that we can stitch straight through!
We’ll also host a gift exchange on Saturday afternoon for anyone who would like to participate. It’s not obligatory, and everyone will be getting some little gifts from Sassy Jacks, so please don’t worry you’ll feel left out if you don’t participate. But I know some of you really enjoy creating a needlework small that you can gift to a stitching sister or brother.
We’ll stitch until 10 pm Saturday or until you decide you need some sleep! We’ll meet again Sunday morning at 9:00 am and stitch until Noon. We’ll bid fond farewells in time for you to enjoy some lunch with friends and time around the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.
Cost of the retreat is $60 and should be paid in full for a confirmed space. Registration is now open and will continue until the retreat is full. Payments are non-refundable, but should your plans change such that you cannot attend, we’ll be sure to mail you our Sassy Jacks treats after the retreat.
Registration is officially open. Please send your registration document to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’re happy to accept a credit card or check payment once your registration has been confirmed.
I know you’ll be pleased with this retreat. It’s a chance for you to gather with friends old and new and work on some of those wonderful projects you’ve collected during the year. We’ll provide the beautiful stitch space. and a little food and fun, and you bring your WIPs. You’ll be literally steps away from Sassy Jacks Stitchery and 5 Little Monkeys (our quilt shop neighbor). Come if you can! We’ll be glad to have you with us!!
If you have any questions, you can send me an email to email@example.com and I’ll do my best to get back to you quickly. You can also give us a call at the shop at 828-785-4405.
