Oh my gosh!!!  We are over the moon to welcome Jeannette Douglas to Sassy Jacks Stitchery for the first time!  She has a brand new sampler she’s bringing to us, called Needle Be True, and let me assure you, it’s gorgeous!  It has a partner sampler that we’re already signed up for in 2023.  I see the beginning of an annual tradition!!  The sweet sampler also has a small or two that we’ll work on in class.  Jeannette will walk us through all of the specialty stitches and you’ll get to practice on the smalls or on your samplers.  Jeannette’s work always uses the most gorgeous silks.

The design is very beautiful, and the size is very manageable at approximately 173 w x 197 h.  I just can’t wait to stitch this beauty!  I hope you’ll join us!

The workshop will be two full days, beginning at 9:30 am and running till around 4:30 pm both days.  Lunch for both days is included.  We always make it special for our students, and as this is our first class after reopening our shop, and our brick and mortar shop turns 5 years old this year… I suspect this will be a special event indeed!

Class will be held at the Fairfield Inn in Weaverville, NC. Address: 25 Fairfield Approach Dr, Weaverville, NC 28787, Phone: (828) 645-9000.  You are free to book your accommodations wherever you wish.  Please have a look at our accommodations page under the workshops tab of our website for some suggestions.  Additionally, there are some wonderful Air BnB options in and around Weaverville.

This workshop is limited to 32 students due to Covid-19 space requirements.  Cost of the workshop including your kit (pre-stitching mailed to you) and lunch both days is $310.  A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required at registration.    If you need to cancel, and we are unable to fill your spot, we will mail your kit immediately after the class via USPS Priority Mail.

Please email us at sjsclasses@gmail.com or call us at the shop to register.  Once we’ve confirmed your registration, you may mail us a check or call us with a card to process your deposit.
