Sassy Jacks Stitchery is overjoyed to welcome Nicola Parkman back for a fabulous workshop on Bathya, a stunning English Band Sampler from circa 1680. Bathya is a rare beauty and our class will be focused on the history of the sampler and other English Band Samplers, and the technique used in stitching this incredible needlework.
Your choice of one of three two-day sessions as follows:
Thursday/Friday May 30th and May 31st
Saturday/Sunday June 1st and June 2nd
Monday/Tuesday June 3rd and June 4th
Class sizes will be limited to allow for personal instruction from Nicola and will be held at our shop. If you’ve attended a class with us before, you know that we pay attention to the details and do our best to make your experience one you’ll really enjoy. It doesn’t hurt having the bakery on one side, and the quilt shop on the other! We look forward to welcoming you into our stitching family, or welcoming you back, as the case may be!
Cost is $405.00 and includes the full kit for Bathya (Linen count of your choice from 36ct, 40ct, or 46ct, and AVAS Silks); A fabulous reception at Maggie B’s on Main Street at the end of your first day; And Nicola’s fabulous in person instruction, as well as continued online access to 17 +/- videos to help you master the reversible stitching technique used in Bathya’s incredibly beautiful sampler. Lunch is on both days is on your own at a nearby café of your choice.
