SASSY JACKS STITCHERY
Grandma’s Heart Needlebook
By Beth Seal
of Summer House Stitche Workes
I am so excited and happy to bring you a wonderful new class from Beth Seal of Summer House Stitche Workes, Grandma’s Heart Needlebook. Beth provides a fabulous description below:
The projects in Grandma’s Heart Needlebook are especially dear to me, as they were inspired by my grandmother’s Victorian needlebook. The articulated sides, embellished with reproduction cotton fabrics from Judie Rothermal, unfold to reveal over-dyed wool from Weeks Dye Works for rust-free needle storage. The front and back are stitched in sampleresque motifs on 32 ct. Cappuccino linen from Weeks with soft, muted colors of over-dyed floss from The Gentle Art. An alphabet is included to personalize your heirloom. An accompanying floss tag and pincushion round out the class projects and of course, there will be a few surprises as well.
We will also have a fun resin mini class with Beth as a little bonus.
You will LOVE this beautiful project and you will LOVE Beth! She’s a wonderful teacher and her classes are both informative and fun. I am so looking forward to joining you on this adventure!
